Account Cancellation

Spring Loans (Pty) Ltd is a registered South African company (Registration No. 2025/631597/07) and an authorised credit provider under the National Credit Regulator (NCRCP 22612).

If you wish to close your personal account or have questions about our Privacy Policy, please contact our Information Officer at support@springloans.co.za or by phone at +27100850420.

Upon confirming your request for account cancellation:

1. Your access to the Platform will be immediately revoked, and you will be automatically logged out.
2. Future access to your account will be permanently disabled.
3. All personal data associated with your account — including your personal details, loan history, and payment records — will be either securely deleted, anonymised, or retained only to the extent required by law, regulatory obligations, or instructions from a competent authority.
4. Once your account is terminated, you will no longer be eligible to apply for or hold any active loans with Spring Loans in the future.

Spring Loans may retain certain data for a limited period where legally required — for example, to comply with the National Credit Act 34 of 2005, Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, or requests from the National Credit Regulator. Such retained information will be securely stored and processed in accordance with our data protection standards.
